The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS) will host it's annual Cause For Paws charity event this year at Upfront & Company on Saturday, May 7th. Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $45 per person* which includes your dinner choice. We are offering new menu selections this year, including: Citrus Herb Whitefish, Chicken Parmesan, Bacon Wrapped Filet & a vegetarian option, Roasted Tomato & Artichoke Orzo.Ticket will include your dinner choice**
This year's MC is Doug Garrison & Bordertown will be there to perform live! There also will be many fantastic raffle and door prizes, please check out our listing below. All proceeds will go to our local shelter.
With your support on fundraisers such as these our shelter's adoption rates have SOARED to an amazing 93%!
All proceeds will go to help UPAWS homeless pets find loving homes.

We were founded in 1975 as the Marquette County Humane Society and are a local nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to taking care of the homeless, unwanted, abandoned and abused domestic animals here in this community. In 2010 we changed our name to: Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter. UPAWS works very hard to save homeless domestic animals lives and give them every chance at finding new loving homes.
